Bio
My pilgrimage as an artist began as a child and progressed to an educator with a degree in Secondary Art Education from Manchester College, North Manchester Indiana, located just a few miles from my childhood home. After graduation, I pursued secondary art instruction and taught four years.
After marriage, I changed directions and continents as a missionary with my husband and family to Kenya E. Africa for nearly two decades. When I returned to the USA in 1997 I began my current journey; exploring and discovering how to make art that leaves my voice visible to those who encounter my artwork.
Because community is important to me, I also serve as an art workshop and event facilitator, described on my Community Events page.
