to Look Forward 36” x 22” Mixed media on paper
In the book of Revelation, we are given a glimpse of a city extravagantly prepared for us; a place we cannot yet experience and a place where His permanent love resides.
My hope is to look forward to that place being prepared for me. These golden pavers are a walkway to that eternal dwelling place, revealing and reflecting the transformational light that darkness cannot overpower.
It is said of Francis Assisi that he lived like he was already in New Jerusalem practicing for eternity. Perhaps we should practice seeing beyond what we see in order to reveal and reflect the hope of His love in our world.
The great street of the city was of pure gold, like transparent glass. Rev. 21:21b
