full stop sold This is a meditative piece, very much related to raphah, and a previous piece, SELAH based on Psalm 46:10. It proclaims the need to stop, cease from my activities for awhile and receive the knowledge into my heart and mind that the LORD is GOD.
The title came to mind as I remembered the British grammar term for the “period” at the end of a sentence. They use the words “full stop” instead of period. So I wanted to emphasize the stopping or ceasing of action and included the period at the end of the verse: be still and know that IAM GOD.
The colors reflect the rich gold of extravagance: gold dug from the earth and processed and refined by fire to purity. My prayer is that my journey of faith will be consistently refined more and more toward really understanding Who God is. When I take time to be with Him, my anxieties and problems shrink and a calmness and knowing permeates my heart and mind. Try it: be still……..and know……..that I AM GOD.* * Psalm 46:10
